With the recent release of "Mortal Kombat II," the number of game adaptations is larger than we think. Unfortunately, most game adaptations leave fans in tears because they're either not loyal to the franchise or they're just one big money grab without focusing on being an actually good film/show. Luckily, there are quite a few good ones, and I am here to tell you which ones you should not miss watching!

Sonic the Hedgehog

Released in: 2020

Sonic the Hedgehog follows the adventures of Sonic (Ben Schwartz), a blue hedgehog with super speed, as he navigates life on Earth. With the release of Re: Vendetta, fans finally got what they wanted. Fantastic action scenes with smooth animation, Leon and Chris kicking some ass together, and of course, the iconic cheesy lines which every Resident Evil film needs. A ton of memorable moments like Leon's motorcycle scene and Chris's stormtrooper fight make this one of the most entertaining gaming adaptations.

Uncharted

Despite its controversial casting choices, I believe this film held its ground quite well, offering fans an adventure film similar to Indiana Jones.

It promises even more impressive fight scenes than before, and with early reviews coming in, it is now considered one of the most well-received gaming adaptations. Mortal Kombat II is currently playing in theaters almost everywhere, so be sure to catch it!
